This 18th Century former public house has now made way for what is probably the first Indian Restaurant in Mosborough. The owner and award winning Chef Muktar Ali has been a friend of front of house chef Afaz Mohammed for many years, and have both delighted palates in the Dronfield, Gleadless and Darnall areas.
The old Vine Tavern has undergone a complete transformation and now offers a simple but stylish interior, with discreet corners and alcoves with feature lighting. Critics say the style of food and service is pleasantly different to other restaurants, backed up by a wide selection of Indian and Bangladeshi meals and a good wine and drinks list. The service is impeccable with friendly and knowledgeable staff, serving food at the table from a trolley.
